RULE #1 - All accounts will be *disabled until the entry fee has been paid. Once your entry fee of $25.00 is paid, your account will be activated, and you can begin picking. All entry fees need to be paid - or payment arrangements made at least TWO weeks prior to the start of the first regular season game. If no arrangements or payments have been recieved we will begin nominations and voting on a suitable replacement for your spot in the FIC
RULE # 2 - If for any reason you are unable to get your picks into the site, you need to call them in to one of the "FIC Officers" BEFORE the games begin to have them counted, otherwise refer to Rule # 3.
RULE # 3 - If you fail to make your pick(s) on time for any reason, you will automatically be given "away team(s)" for those picks. Keep in mind, it will show up immediately as a missed/Loss pick(s), but will be changed ASAP to "away team(s)" by the site administration.
RULE #4 - If you decide for any reason, after the first game of the season has begun, that you wish to drop out, your money WILL NOT BE REFUNDED. Your account will be *disabled and you are considered forfeit. (Other alternatives may be considered and voted upon by the FIC Officers.)
RULE #5 - "Champion and Bottom-Feeder" attendance at the awards ceremony is mandatory and we'll work the schedule around those two people. Bottom feeder's failure to show could result in your spot being filled the following year. If you've won an award and fail to show to the awards party to receive it, your award MAY be forfiet and MIGHT be given to the next person in line. If for any reason you cannot attend, please contact one of the officers, get your very best excuse ready as this will looked at and voted upon.
RULE #6 - Please be respectful at all times. While this gets extremely competitive and tempers can flare from time to time, be respectful. When using the message board, remember that things may appear different than they were meant, its hard to convey emotion correctly sometimes. If you're ever in doubt, use any of the 16 emoticons supplied by clicking on the smiley face under the text area where you post messages
* disabled accounts can still log in and browse the entire website, but picking and posting on the message board are not allowed.

Visit once per week and fill in the entry form by making your pick for each game. The goal is to pick the winning team.
- Note that points spreads are shown for informational purposes only. You want to pick the team that will actually win the game, not who will beat or cover the spread.
You will also be asked to guess the total points scored in the Monday Night Football game (or whatever the last scheduled game of that week is). This will be used as a tiebreaker.
The winner for each week will be the player with the highest score. In the event of a tie, the player who guessed closest to the actual point total of the tiebreaker game will win the week. Should any players still be tied after applying the tiebreaker, the week will be a split. This will be used to determine your position in the standings.
For the tiebreaker, it does not matter if your point total is over or under the actual score total. It is only the difference that counts.
--Anytime you are making your picks, please don't forget to hit the "update" button, or your picks will not be saved and you will get "Tripped", refer to rule #3!
Table of Contents
Your score is simply the number of games you correctly picked.
In the event a game ends in a tie, you will receive half a point for that game, provided you made a pick for it.
Table of Contents
When filling in an entry form, you do not have to make a pick for each game. All that is required is that you enter a point total for the tiebreaker. This is helpful if there are early games scheduled for a given week (games played on a Thursday, Friday or Saturday). You may make your picks for these games beforehand and complete the rest later.
--Anytime you are making your picks, please don't forget to hit the "update" button, or your picks will not be saved and you will get "Tripped", refer to rule #3!

Games are automatically locked out on the entry form according to their scheduled date and time.
-Times displayed on the schedule are Eastern (EST).
You may change your pick for any game up until the time that game is locked. You may also change your tiebreaker point total up until the time that game starts.
Entries must be completed on time. Once a game is locked, you may not change your pick for it. If you did not make a pick for a particular game, you will get "Tripped", refer to rule #3!
The Administrator may make exceptions for extenuating circumstances on an individual basis. By participating you agree to abide by the above rules and accept any decisions made by the "FIC Officers".
If you have trouble accessing the site, logging in or otherwise completing your entry, please contact one of the "FIC Officers" for help.

This feature let's you quickly fill in your weekly entry using one of these options to make a pick in each game:

All Home picks - the home teams.
All Favorites picks - the favored teams based on the point spread shown.
All Underdogs picks - the underdog teams based on the point spread shown.

By default, quick picks are applied to all unlocked games, overwriting any current selections. You can prevent this for specific games by checking the Keep box next to the game. Unchecking the box will again allow the game to be updated with a quick pick.
When the Administrator updates an entry on behalf of a player, locked games can be overwritten as well. For convenience, locked games with an existing selection are initially checked to prevent accidental overwriting. They may be unchecked if desired.
You can use any combination of quick picks and manual selections prior to submitting your entry. Remember to also enter a tiebreak point total.

We may be offering a Special Super Bowl pool next year for an additional fee per person, and is a winner take all pool.(amount is undecided - $5 to $20? I'll ask everyone for input)
In the Super Bowl pool, you are given a series of questions in the form of "which team will:"
Win the game
Score the first touchdown,
Commit the first turnover,
Score the most points in the 1st quarter,
Gain the most rushing yards,
Complete the longest pass play,
...and so on etc etc.
If we decide to open this pool up you will be given a hardcopy of this 1 week before the Super Bowl.
You must pick one of the opposing teams in each instance. 1 point being awarded to each correct answer given, if the teams tie in a category, no point is awarded. "Who will win" being the most important, all others will be considered only in the case of a tie for first place.

Optional Survivor Pool
We will open this side pool up for any players that wish to particpate starting in the 2015-16 Season. .
This pool is separate from the weekly picks pool.
If you choose to participate, you must enter during the first week.
Entry Fee is $10
How you choose the pick for that entry is up to you.
The pool runs over the entire regular season.
Each week, you must pick one team among those playing that you think will win its game.
You can use each team only once.
You want to pick teams to win straight up.
Pick lock times will be the same as your normal picks. They lock at the start of the game.
The goal of the survivor pool is to outlast your fellow players.
If your team wins, you survive and continue on to the next week.
If your team loses, you are eliminated.
There will be no rebuys, so choose wisely 1 loss is elimination.
Note that if you do not make a pick for a given week, it counts as a Loss.
If the game ends in a tie, it is considered a Win.
In the event all active players are eliminated in a single week, those players will be reinstated and continue to the next week.
When only one player remains that player wins the pot.
If more than one player survives to the end of the regular season then they will split the pot equally.
This is a "Winner Take All" side pool.
To avoid unnecessary confusion Please do not play on survivor unless you buy in. If you do You will be edited out first week
